The Perfect Baked Potato

Baked potatoes are a wondrous thing. They can be topped with almost anything.

Ingredients:
Spuds (As many as needed)
Olive Oil
Kosher Salt

  1. Hand scrub potatoes
  2. Dry thoroughly
  3. Pierce 1/8" to 1/4" with fork (6 times each)
  4. Lightly coat with Olive Oil (all sides)
  5. Sprinkle with Kosher Salt
  6. Preheat oven to 350º to 375º
  7. Place Potatoes on oven rack
  8. Bake for one hour*
    • For crispy skin, increase oven temp to 425°after one hour at 350° for additional 20 minutes
    • Garnish as needed
  9. Consume

You will find that this approach yields a slightly crispy skin and a buttery interior.
