Pickled Chipotle Asparagus

Grilled Chipotle Asparagus has become a favorite at Two Guys Grilling© Special Events and private parties. It sells out almost every evening at a wonderful restaurant in San Clemente, CA. The flavors worked so well together that I wondered, pickles?

1 Bunch Thin Asparagus
1 Tsp Raw Cane Sugar
1 Tsp Two Guys Grilling© Mediterranean Sea Salt
1 Tsp Dry Mustard
1 Tsp Fresh Chopped Garlic
1/2 Tsp Two Guys Grilling© Chipotle Molido
1 Tbsp Dry Chopped Onion
Vinegar
Water

Combine all in a 16 oz Mason Jar
Cover with half vinegar, half water
Seal tightly
Refrigerate one week


Try different vinegars, I like wine and seasoned rice vinegars. These Asparagus spears are an ideal garnish for Two Guys Grilling© Bloody Marias.
