Blue Burgers

Arrrr! Blue Cheese can be a grilled burger's best friend. When grilled properly, the slightly melted blue cheese brings much to this burger.


The Dana Point Trinity©
Blue (Bleu) Cheese Crumbled or Sliced Thinly - 1 Tbs per Patty
Ground Chuck (15 to 20 per cent Fat) - 1/4 to 1/3 Pound Per Patty


Form Two Thin Patties
Place Blue Cheese (About 1 Tbs) Between Patties
Crimp to Seal, Allow to Rest 5 to 10 Minutes

Preheat Grill to Medium Hot
Place Seasoned Burgers on Grill
Grill 1 to 2 Minutes
Turn Over
Grill 1 to 2 Minutes
Turn Over, Rotating Ninety Degrees
Grill 1 to 2 Minutes
Turn Over
Grill 1 to 2 minutes
Turn Over
Remove From Grill


Thin slices of avocado, grilled onions or tomato can elevate an ordinary burger to delightful levels. Serve with your favorite buns or sliced kaiser rolls. Grilling time is approximate, get to know your grill. Your grill can be a good friend if you know it well.
